Resume Review

We review every resume that comes through to determine the best suited candidates for the position in question. We care more about skills, traits, and experience over degrees.

What’s the worst that could happen?

Phone Interview

If you’re receiving a call from us, it means everything looks cool on your end of the resume and we have some follow up questions. This phone interview will be brief, 3-5 minutes typically.

If you’re wondering what we’ll ask:

  • Questions to clarify information on your resume.
  • Why you want to apply for this position.

If you don’t receive a call from us and want to work with us, show us. Drop in, call us, email us, show that you are interested.

Interview

Seems your phone interview went well and you got invited to our office for a chat. Congrats!

You’ll be meeting with the head of your future department where you will have a conversation together. Seriously, it’s pretty casual, like two friends having a chat where one is super curious about you!

Both of you get to determine whether we’re the right fits for each other so make sure to come prepared with some questions.

Want some tips to make sure your chat goes well?

  1. Confirm your interview the morning of.
  2. Read up on the position and our organization.
  3. Show up 5-10 minutes early.
  4. Dress business casual.
  5. Don’t try to impress with fluff. Be you!
  6. If you don’t know the answer to something, say so! Instead, offer to show how you might answer based on your limited experience on the matter.
  7. Don’t be scared to ask questions!
  8. When your interview is over, be curious and talk with the rest of the team.

Test

Test?? What are we back in school?

If the head of your future department saw that you’d be a great fit for the position, they’ll provide you with a small test assignment. We want to see how your mind works.

Depending on the position, this could be mixed in with the next part or it may be separate.

Oh, and if you didn’t receive this but really want to work with us…show us! Yup, same as before.

Cultural Interview

Round of applause! Not everyone makes it this far.

A cultural interview will be conducted with an Executive of the organization.

This is exactly how it sounds. We want to make sure you will feel comfortable working with us as we would feel comfortable working with you.

If you did not get called in for a cultural interview, don’t be afraid to ask for feedback. We are happy to provide you with anything that can help you improve.

In fact, we may even ask you some questions to help us improve! We’d appreciate brutal honesty.
